The Grand Saline Volunteer Fire & EMS enjoyed wearing Elbeco uniforms. However, we are currently wearing an off-brand polo shirt because of our rookie doing the station laundry. At the end of each month everyone brings their uniform down and the new rookie cleans everyone’s uniform. Well, our rookie put all 30 blue uniform shirts in the washer without checking what had been left inside. Someone had left their RED fire suspenders that had been bleached in the washer. An hour later, our once nice blue uniforms got turned into an off blue & pink color – all around the time of our New Year’s banquet in December. At the fire banquet we made the rookie wear the blue & pink uniform. The Department enjoyed wearing the Elbeco uniforms and hopefully we will be back in Elbeco in the future.
