In June 2004 I was dispatched to an address located in a rural community to assist a civil process server with a summons. While looking for the address, we observed two small children covered in filth who eventually advised us that we were at the correct address. While making contact with a female subject at the residence, the respondent rushed out the front door into a heavily wooded area. The respondent was later located with a large sum of cash in his possession. While on scene we discovered loaded firearms within reach of the children, maggots and filth on the interior of the trailer, starving dogs, a clandestine methamphetamine lab, and severe signs of disease and multiple bug bites on the children. The residence was later condemned and a local Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper adopted the two children whom are now in loving hands.
