Elbeco Launches New Winter Weight Elastique Trousers Approved by the United States Postal Service

(Reading, PA---) Elbeco, a leading manufacturer of professional performance uniforms, has launched a new winter weight trouser designed exclusively for the United States Postal Service. The new postal trousers feature heavy weight 15 oz. 100% polyester Elastique with Moisture Control System (MCS). The new fabric will provide increased warmth and moisture wicking to enhance comfort while keeping the wearer dry.

The MCS technology was added to the Elastique fabric to improve its moisture management by wicking moisture to the surface of the fabric for rapid evaporation. This improvement to the fabric meets and exceeds stringent USPS regulations.

Elbeco has used Elastique fabrics to manufacture its Cavalry Twill public safety uniforms for over (X) years. The unique fabric has a proven track record of durability and longevity while maintaining a distinctive, professional appearance.

The postal trouser style will remain the same as the E1367 with the hip patch removed to meet USPS specifications. Regular and comfort cuts are available in the trousers which feature extra-deep quarter-top front pockets, double-tipped pocket bags, lined inserted belt loops, bar tacks, pressed-open tailored seam construction and a triple-stitched crotch. These trousers replace the lightweight and heavyweight Orlon blend US Postal styles.
